Pre-screens applicants, arranges appointments, and assists clients in preparing and filing forms for government entitlements, and trouble-shooting system to assure receipt of services.
These entitlements include, but are not limited to
- Medicare
- Medicaid
- Social Security Benefits
- SSI Disability
- Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
- Prenatal Care Assistance Program (PCAP)
- Food Stamps
- Senior Citizen Rent Increase Exemption (SCRIE) an
- Emergency Financial Assistance
- Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), assisting eligible seniors and low-income families with the cost of heating their homes.
Additionally, respite programs, household help, intervention and referral services are available.
