The Food Stamp Program provides food support to low-income New Yorkers including working families, the elderly and the disabled to increase their ability to purchase food. To receive Food Stamp benefits, a household must qualify under eligibility rules set by the federal government.
More people than ever before are eligible for Food Stamps. You can own a house, a car & up to $2000 in resources. To find out more, call the CHJCC Outreach Worker at (718) 778-8808 x30, he will review the paperwork and help you with your application.
